ABOUT

On September 2nd, 1989, the body of my sister, Maria India Parreno was found deceased in Newington Connecticut at the Datamail facility on 240 Hartford Ave. Her body was found behind a parked detached tractor-trailer. She died of a single gunshot wound to the head at point-blank range in the late hours of September 1st, 1989. For the last 35 years, I have been in search of the perpetrators. Over this time, I've had photos and names of perpetrators given to me from street sources. I've brought this to the police departments' attention numerous times, only to be evaded, ignored, threatened, and even laughed at. I've accepted excuse, after excuse. Recently, as of August 2022, I have confirmed the identity of one of the perpetrators and the people with whom my sister last resided in Hartford, who are, in my opinion, directly involved. The people in question all have substantial criminal records and are living in or around the same areas. Though I am no detective, having survived the dangerous streets of Hartford, I know plenty about dangerous people's behavior. The police have failed me and my sister, and I feel strongly that they are hiding something. Each week there will be a new blog as it pertains to what I have been trying to do for 35 years and important details, including some photos that may require viewer discretion.

I am pleading for anyone who may have knowledge of this case to come forward and help me bring my sister justice by having the perpetrators apprehended. I would like to hear opinions from current and/or former law enforcement as to why I would be stonewalled for 35 years.

There is currently a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the apprehension and conviction of the perpetrators.
