Over the last 35 years, I have presented names, photos, and information on aliases of people who were allegedly involved in my sister's homicide to the police of various departments, including state and FBI. Each department would pass me off to the next department. Some would act very interested for the first few phone calls or in-person visits, only to abruptly stop responding to me. In several instances, I was warned that I could also be killed by involving myself in my sister's homicide and I should just give up. I had always provided photos and names of possible perpetrators asking police to cross-reference their gang and offender data to get them to ID suspects, only to be turned away. I've been giving the excuse that homicides are committed every day, and those would get priority as opposed to a decades old homicide.
